*A Vampire Story with Real TEETH
I will start with how much I enjoyed this book. A young girl with two left feet and no real family and few friends stumbles upon a world that only exists in your darkest of fairytales. Now, she is no damsel in distress, although her clumsiness does make for an interesting take on how upside down her own world is already. Suffering from horrible night terrors she is a freak of her own mind. She meets a young man that changes her life, her love and what she believes. Check it out, great read from beginning to end. Love this story. Oh and by the way, the passion, OMG!!

This is a strange book one that I would not normally read but I was looking for something different. WOW! What a story line and very different from my normal but can’t wait for volume 2.
*Take a real bite out of boredom.
Amazon Buyer Review:
This is a great start in what should be a strong bloody series. The character development walks the neophyte through the nuances of the vampire world and the many levels that Hollywood does such a crappy job at. The story development seems to plod at times, but is actually perfectly timed to the circadian tempo of the characters. What I thought was going to be another fluffy twilight, turned out to have a lot of real red meat.
If you like your romance on the sharpened edge of a set of teeth…. this is your main meal.

Blood Rose was by far the best vampire book I have read. I suspected Damien to be a vampire, but wasn’t sure with the normal life he led. My heart went out to Lianna for her awful nightmares and experiencing them. I fell in love with the story line and characters. Looking forward to Book 2 in the Saga.
Lianna is a girl with a very unusual affliction. She has violent nightmares and when a wound is inflicted on anyone in her dream, she wakes up with the same wound, though it heals rapidly. She keeps to herself for obvious reasons, but she does have a couple of friends whom she works with at a restaurant. Damien D’Tera is a regular customer of Lianna’s, always sitting in her section, ordering a drink and nothing more, then leaving after several hours and barely touching what he ordered. As Lianna is walking home from work one night she gets the feeling she is being is being followed. Damien picks her up and takes her home. The story takes off from there. I don’t want to give away any spoilers. The chemistry between Damien & Lianna is hot. The spark between them is intense from the beginning. Lianna is a strong feminine character and able to hold her own, which I really liked. Damien is, of course protective, but not overly so. The other characters in the story are just as strongly written as the main characters. The scenery is described in such a way that you get a mental picture of exactly what the character/author is seeing. Ms. Gagne did a wonderful job with this story and I can’t wait to read the next one.
*Good Read made me laugh and love the character!
So what I can say this book started out with some laughs! I love the fact that Lianna talks to herself I can so relate! She just reminds of a time in life when any women as gone through trying to figure out WTF is going on; now grated hers is totally something else going on. When Damien comes into the picture can I say I am a hot mess over him, so much so that I kept thinking OMG I so want him coming up and sinking into my neck! LOL Ok so I tend to be a ending spoiler so PLEASE read the book. I totally loved it and its my honest review. Looking forward for more from Jacquelynn Gagne!!!

This is exactly the type of story i love to read. I read this from (ebook) cover to cover in one sitting and now I’m sitting here thinking MORE. I’m immensely disappointed that i can’t read the next book in this series straight away.
I love the way the information in this story is fed to you, not all too much in one go nor fed too slowly there is no idea whats going on. I have so many questions about things within the plot that i can’t wait for book number 2 to hopefully answer them.
I enjoyed the romance and passion. Great characters that are believable. Overall just an excellent read.

From the first few pages you get hooked. There are twist and turns that leave you turning the pages as fast as you can & leave you up till 2am still reading because you just cannot put it down. The love that is shown is what every girl wants in their lives. Even when you are not reading your mind is racing trying to figure what will come next. To me it wasn’t long enough, I just wanted to read about Lianna & Damien for as long as I could, I cannot wait to read book #2! The ending leaves you wanting more, you will be thinking “Ahhh, I have to get the second book as soon as possible.” This is one Ahh-mazing book and I cannot wait to see what comes of the Series. 5 Stars for Ms.Gagne!!!
*Great story with a twist you just don’t expect..
Lianna is tormented with the most horrible night terrors you can imagine but they are not imagined! She wakes up with cuts, scratches and at times covered in mud. Those horrors that she sees in her dreams make her think she is a freak and as a child she was taken to several different shrinks to figure out what was wrong with her. She removed herself from her family and tried to live her own life while putting up with the horror that is her nights.
A dear friend and her mother try to help by reading her cards but its apparent to them and to Lianna, by their reactions, that something horrible is about to happen and they doubt it can be stopped.
Damien comes into her life when he starts to come into the place she works and its obvious to everyone that he comes there only for her and she cannot understand his attention to her. She is of course attracted to him but wants to hide the craziness that is her life.
I won’t ruin the story for you but from the moment she is being followed home one night Damien comes to her aid in a way I didn’t see coming. I was totally blown away with the twist this story took and totally loved the emotions and passions that pass between Lianna and Damien all during the time that her life is in a complete turmoil.
A fascinating read from start to end.
Post note: I was gifted this book and asked to give an open and honest review and I have done just that.
*Amazon Buyer Review:
I have read books on vampires for years now, and they all have basically the same concept. Let’s face it, most books these days have too. It is rare that there is something completely different when it comes to these little blood suckers. However, I must say. . . Blood Rose is different. I thought I’d read about them all, but then comes along this book and completely changes everything. When I do reviews, I don’t leave in depth details or spoilers. I will say the protagonist is ruthless an Ms. Gagne pulls no punches when it comes to introducing him! He is a vile to the core and she created him beautifully. The emotions in this book will make you feel like you are on a roller coaster ride. Just as you get to the top and start that quick and rapid decent to the bottom you feel like you left your heart and stomach somewhere at the top!!! Its crazy. Read this book, you won’t be sorry at all!!!!!!

This book was gifted to me for an honest review. A Different Approach This book of course was about supernatural beings and the ever popular vampires, but it came at the subject with a different approach. It was quite refreshing. I was reading an eBook version of this story and did not have the blurb available and did not go look for it. I like to start cold and let the book lead me. It wasn’t until pretty far into the book I actually realized that there were even vampires in the book. That was rather refreshing. The author has a nice style that makes it very easy to read and relate to the characters in the book. I liked the way she tied the drawing of the rose on the napkin to the title of the book. I don’t want to give anything away for future readers, but this is a very well written book that I think supernatural enthusiasts will enjoy. I can’t wait for book two to see where everyone goes from here. I thank the author for sharing it with me. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars.
Format: Kindle Edition
Sensational! I was immediately intrigued from the moment I entered into the strange life of Lianna. I can’t not imagine having to go through life and have to keeping secret all the horrific and strange encounters she had endure not only mental but physical by supernatural being she couldn’t understand nor explain. Now this book will take you on incredible journey not only into to her life but also the past and the future where thing get even more complicated when the handsome Damien suddenly appears in her life bring new and unexpected twist into the mix… This talented Author with her artistic skills has a gift of painting a spectacular vivid picture in your mind with amazing detail with not only the characters but with each every emotion they are feeling, leaving you breathless and accelerated at the same time!! I will leave you with this thought, this not your ordinary paranormal story of vampires, shifters and otherworldly beings by no means!! Oh and a cliff hanger o an ending that will leave you begging for the second book in this fantastic series!!!!
To be honest I struggled to get through the first few chapters…it could have very well of been myself or other things getting my attention none the less I found this book to be a very great read…my heart pounded where it should have and I even spoke a few times out loud receiving strange looks from the people that were around…I simply replied “you need to read this”….I hated that it ended and definitely can’t wait for the next one!! I am so happy that things panned out like they did, poor girl was a walking disaster. The details and the creativity were amazing and very unique. My favorite details were the art work that was mentioned throughout the book, I would love to see some of it, it would be amazing to look at!! In most stories a vampire bites you and that is it you are either dead or a vampire…ohhhh but not in Blood Rose sit down. So I recommend you grab this book hold onto your pounding heart and read it through till the end. You will not be disappointed, well except of course wanting to read more when you do reach the end!!
*A new twist with a bite
I will say, I’ve not read any vampire book like this one. It has all the elements that, in my honest opinion, need. It clearly has mystery, twists and turns, a super wicked protag, romance, and heart break. Blood Rose does not hem haw around. It jumps right in and quickly progresses without any lag in the story and continues on the wild and crazy ride all the way to the very last page. There are new and unusual creatures in here that are so vividly described if feels like they could leap from the pages, which wouldn’t be that great of a thing. There were new characters introduced at the end and I am interested in seeing where Ms. Gagne plans to take this story next. I will say the one thing that REALLY bothered me. . . I have to wait for the next one to come out! I am so anxious to see what happens next.
*Blood Rose, perfect name.
LOVE this book! I really enjoyed the way it was written. Smooth writing is very important to me! The story was amazing. I fell in love with the characters and could not put this book down. Normally, I’m very picky with these type of books and have 4-5 favorites. This is officially one of those! Definitely a must read!!
This was one of the most intense stories I have read in a long time. I felt every emotion the main character had and once had to throw the book. Jacquelynn Gagne gave such amazing detail that I felt like I was living in the story. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book in the Blood Saga.
